Alpair 7 was the first of Markaudio's latest hi-end series of full range drivers; we use it in most of our designs. The detail is unsurpassed - the reproduction of voices and acoustic intruments reveals this. The unique feature is the three dimentionel sound image that Alpair 7 delivers; presumably due to a much better spread of especially high midrange frequencies than speakers normally can handle. The explanation lies in the advanced design of the cone, which has a very intricate curvous design and the "button" in the middle. Alpair 7 can operate up to 30 kHz so there is no need for a tweeter. Alpair 7 handles 20 Watts RMS.
