Alpair 6

Alpair 6 comes in two versioners:

Alpair 6M is the latest revision of Alpair 6; it now has the same cone type as Alpair 7 and thus inherits the same positive attributes that comes with it. The details are even finer than in Alpair 7 the smaller cone can naturally not deliver the same bass and sound pressure as its bigger brother. Alpair 6M have a warm sound that works well with modern media and MP3 players. It is especially suited for smaller installations such as desktop and near-field applications, where you are close to the sound source.

Alpair 6P is built according to the usual design from Markaudio but here Mark Fenlon has choosen to use a completely new cone made out of paper materiel. The coneis ultra-light because of this and the voice coil has an incredible low inductance which ensures that the high notes are reproduced extremely detailed.
